Salwa Zeidan

Salwa Zeidan, born in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, spent her formative years traveling globally. She eventually settled in Abu Dhabi, continuing her passion for the arts. Zeidan employs various mediums, including mixed media paintings, conceptual art, sculpting, and recycled art. Her work centers around promoting peace and freedom of expression, reflecting her pursuit of truth, inner tranquility, enlightenment, and knowledge. Over her 25-year career, Salwa has dedicated numerous works to peace, love, and environmental awareness.

Recognized for her abstract minimalist style, Salwa incorporates calligraphy into her art. She has created sculptures inspired by her renowned spiral shape ink drawings from 1999. The spiral motif persists in her work, representing humanity's cyclical evolution.

Salwa's paintings and sculptures are exhibited in galleries and private collections worldwide, including the United States, Switzerland, Italy, France, London, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, Egypt, and Lebanon.

Currently residing and working in Abu Dhabi, Salwa established a contemporary art gallery showcasing works by established and emerging Middle Eastern artists.
