Alan Brain

An early life spent in Japan and other places instilled a sense of restlesness in me which remains today. My love of aviation took me into flying and a careeer with an airline where I could indulge my urge to explore all things new to me. Painting was discovered fortuitously, it soon became a demanding passion. I quit the airline in 1994 and now I paint nearly every day. My paintings are about me. I look inwards to my life's experiences for inspiration - it is not lacking. It is a fantastic journey of self discovery. I feel so lucky.
